The part nobody photographs

A hat that has to come off, comes off.

The standard for cords on children's clothing keeps the head and neck area clear on hats for under-sevens. We take that further and build every hat in the range without cords or drawstrings anywhere. Where a hat has a chin fastener, the fastener is a two-part buckle that separates under load, and we print the force it separates at.

Pick the head, not the age.

Ages are a starting point. Two four-year-olds can be three centimetres apart, so every line is listed by head circumference as well.

Grow Fit

We will not tell you to buy it big.

A hat bought two sizes up slides over the eyes and gets pushed off within the hour. So instead of stretching a size, we tell you which one fits today and roughly how long it is likely to last — as a range, because children vary a lot.

Measure a head

Head 49 cm at 2 years

Recommends size M
Now+12 months+24 months

Roughly 14 to 32 months at this size

This is a range based on typical growth. Children vary a lot. It is an estimate, not a promise.

Pick two steps up and we show you this instead: a hat that's too big slides over the eyes and gets pushed off. We don't recommend sizing up more than one step.

Bought together

We wear the same one.

Every set costs less than the same hats bought separately, and the difference is printed on the set. If one hat comes back, the refund is worked out per hat with the set discount removed in proportion.

The whole label, before you buy.

Nothing about how a hat is built is held back for the parcel. What is sewn inside is printed on the page.

Age range and head size
In months or years, and in centimetres. No hat is sold without both.
Fastening structure
Cord free at the neck, and the release force of the chin fastener in newtons where one is fitted.
Fabric and chemistry
Composition in Spanish and English, plus azo dye, nickel release and formaldehyde conformity on the infant lines.
Brim, care and guarantee
Measured brim width, wash temperature, drying method and the 3-year legal guarantee under Spanish law.

Measure once. Buy the size that fits now.

Two minutes with a tape measure and you will know the size, the likely months of wear and whether a matching adult hat exists in the same colour.
